Forget the copper one, the Black Pearl looks way better.

Hey Eoraptor that logo on the bottom is actually a protective film that peels off.

Well i am glad to hear that...

though honestly, the copper one just looks better to me... all that warm red metal (but I'm irish... so all things red)

Wow, that's gorgeous. I can't stop looking at it.

I am curious to see test specs as well too... my biggest shock when moving up from my old but still-kicking Nforce 2 board to a more modern chipset was powering it up for the first time and having it sound like it was powering up for a catapult shot off of the big E (comparatively at least). So quieter is always better in my book.

Still, I ~DO~ hope that is just a publicity shot, and they weren't stupid enough to go inking the actual heat sink interface with their logo and ruining the whole thing's effectiveness.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of strapping 2.25lbs to my thinplastic motherboard...

I'll stick with my H100, it keeps me cool, isn't loud (So long as you put aftermarket fans on and keep it turned to med) and doesn't put the wieght of a small child hanging obstusely from my motherboard.

But is is REALLY shiney and pretty, I would love to see this in a nice case with some neon blue lights reflecting off of it gloriously...

Holy crap. I think I want one when they become available in greater quantity.

For that price you can buy a Noctua NH-D14, and still goto Chipotle twice!

You get one of the best coolers on the market, still probably not as loud as your power supply.

Over clock the crap out of that thing with a D-14

Agreed, except on the overclocking. Just leave the chip at stock speeds and turn the fan way down.

Would be nice to see if you have tested it. . . .

Yes, a test when it actually ships would be nice. I really like the design but sometimes it still needs to function. Would be good for my htpc.

I'm actually curious as to what kind of temps this produces.
