If the Kinect for Windows is worth $100 (it is currently $250 on Amazon and MS), then this software is worth nothing.

If the built-in functionality and API of the Kinect is so weak that it is reasonable to spend $7 to enable its use as a remote control, then it fails badly.

Couldn't you just use Xbox connect on your computer? Wasn't there was an article on Maximum PC that showed you to do it. It's like 1/3 the cost just to buy the Xbox Kinect.
