The biggest deal killer is releasing it on T-Mobile. No 3G for one, the services they offer pale in comparison to what Sprint Verizon and ATT offer so this phone will nt be able to show its true colors or performance as T-Mobile cannot come close to matching the QOS teh big 3 can along with the network bandwidth they have that T-Mobile lakcs. Strange decision by Google to handicap themselves like this.

i'd prolly drink the 2 year contract flavor of Google's Kool-Aid.

A G1 is available for around 120-ish with a 2 year contract so going up to 180 for significantly more phone seems well worth it.

my wife is on t-mobile (BB Curve) and i'm on an ATT BB-8820 provided by my employer and she has a better signal wherever we go in the Bay Area for voice and data.  dunno about the rest of the country but their service is pretty good here.  on top of that, t-mobile's customer service has been outstanding to us.  no complaints at all about them.
