Netflix for Android APK Leaked to the Web, Doesn't Do Much
Android is seen by some as the Holy Grail of Netflix streaming, which is available on just about every other platform. You can currently stream Netflix through game consoles, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, TV sets, Apple devices, and who knows, there's probably a toaster oven out there somewhere serving up Netflix titles. Curiously missing from that list is Android, though it appears not for long.
The APK for running Netflix on Android was recently leaked to the Web, which could be an indication that the two platforms are getting ready to unite. However, those hoping to get an early peek are probably out of luck. Most who have installed the APK say that all they can do is load up Netflix and look around, but aren't able to stream.
There is at least one user who claims he got it work, but he seems to be the exception rather than the rule. If you want to try it out yourself, you can grab the APK here.

After all the bad virus activity with APK files and the market, the last thing I am willing to install is some random APK from some unknown sorce.
I would love to have netflix on my Droid, but I can wait, or just watch it on my TV :)

There has been an app on the market for some time now and i have been using it for over a year now. it's called playon. i first installed it on my computer to watch Netflix on my ps3 but if the app is also installed on the droid you can use it to stream Netflix to the droid. It not only lets you watch Netflix but you can watch hulu, tv.com and many others. They give you a 15 day demo to try before you buy. It can be found at playon dot tv. I spelled out the link because I don't know if we are allowed to post links on here.
