a touchscreen isn't necessary to properly or efficiently operate the 'modern' UI my gosh people...

This should have been the standard when the ultra books were first introduced. Not a year later.

And like its been stated the screens will have to be touch since the push of win8.

I want this, but with one of the upcoming Haswell chips. My Dell ultrathick will have to do until that happens.
