Windows 8 is going to be Microsoft's first real attempt at catering to the touchscreen crowd (hopefully not at the expense of keyboard and rodent users), but until then, PC makers aren't shying away from building all-in-one PCs for business. To wit, MSI just announced its new Wind Top AP2011 specifically designed for -- you guess it -- business users.
One of the cool things about the AP2011 is the adjustable stand with auto-rotation function. These optional extras transform what would normally be a static AIO into a flexible system with pivot, swivel, and height adjustments, with the added ability of being able to turn the display to portrait mode. When you do, the screen automatically changes, just like your smartphone does.
Speaking strictly to the hardware, the AP2011 sports a 20-inch LED multi-touch panel with a 1600x900 resolution, Intel Core i3 2100 or Pentium G620 processor, Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of DDR3-1333 (expandable to 8GB), 500GB SATA II hard drive, 6-in-1 memory card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a pair of 3W speakers, two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, headphone and mic ports, 0.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional 64-bit.
