MSI Announces Two New "Turbo" Boosted GX-Series Laptops

comment Commentsprint Printemail EmailDeliciousDiggStumbleUponRedditFacebookSlashdot

It looks like MSI hasn’t had their fill of laptops doning “Turbo” buttons, because their new GX623 and GX633 both pack the crazy feature aimed at boosting performance conveniently.

Both the GX623 and GX633 feature a 15.4-inch display, but they’re fundamentally different just about everywhere else. The GX623 features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and ATI Radeon HD4670 graphics, while the GX633 packs an AMD X2 Turion Ultra processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 130M graphics. They both feature 4GB of RAM, 500GB of storage, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 2-megapixel webcam.

No word yet on pricing or availability.

avatarYes!

I have a post dedicated to showing Andy how small and insignificant he is by using "dawning" in place of "donning". That was my intention from the very start.  When he corrected the mistake, I decided to cut him a little slack even though he subsequently misspelt his correction.  Now the whole world knows of my greatness!

Or, I just wanted to point out that "Hey, you misused a word here.  You might want to fix it."  in the quickest most concise way.  Take it any way you want to.

A hyper link and copy pastes from a online dictonary taking up like 10 lines is not "concise".

avatarWhat a pathetic little person

He missed an "n" and the editor or spell check didn't catch it.  Wow.  Here's your gold star for catching such a gross oversight.

avatarkinda funny

anyone else think its kinda funny how so often people build two setups one with an amd proc and an nvidia vid card and another with an intel proc and an amd/ati vid card? i know nvidia and intel don't get along too well but amd/ati is one company so seems like it would make sense to pair up their own products. im not saying this is bad per se just a little funny. i used to run intel procs with an ati vid card all the time (still do on a a couple comps) but my main one happens to be intel/nvidia right now. although admittedly its because i usually prefer intel but flip flop between ati and nvidia.

also, i can't believe oedipus_rex. why the hell would you post an entire comment for an article without mentioning anything but one mistake (not even one related to content). you clearly have too much time on you hands so why don't you go volunteer or something constructive instead of just trying to make yourself feel smart. (btw the post actually just makes you seem dumber)

Grammar nazis are extremely annoying. Really a whole copy paste from a dictonary, and no actual comment on the article? Do you read maximum pc for spelling mistakes?
