Mozilla Releases Initial Design Teasers for Firefox 3.7
Less than a month after the release of Firefox 3.5, Mozilla has published a few design mockups for Firefox 3.7 on Mozilla Wiki. Mozilla made it amply clear that the designs “are only for brainstorming/exploration”. Mozilla is making a conscious effort to come up with a design that will let Firefox 3.7 melt seamlessly into the Windows7/Windows Vista environment. On the face of it, Firefox 3.7 is very likely to feature a toolbar that mimics glass in its appearance, with the buttons being translucent and having added gloss.

Must be just you, because it looks like FireFox to me... I've got IE8 and FireFox open right now, and they don't look anything like eachother...

To me it has hints of Chrome. A little bit of Safari, too. Still retains Mozilla's 3.0 release as well. This is in the youngest stage, though.

Well I guess I won't have to wait for the guy who made the "Glasser" theme to make a version for Firefox 3.5 and in this case, Firefox 3.7.

That is a very attractive, and modern, look. I like it a lot. Gimme! :)

I have to admit that on first impression it wasn't too "Let's get this now!" appeal. To be honest, though, it has kind of moved on me just a bit by starring at it and imagining using it.

For the time being there are addons that will enable the Aero Glass in Firefox.
