Live bookmarks no longer mark links that you have already clicked on. Very annoying. Don't know why they would remove that feature, it only made the live bookmarks worse.

I like having the most secure browser and all, but if it doesn't work with my favorite websites, it ain't worth a dime. Still, it keeps buggin' me to update now!

Big Pain!

Most visited pages is bullshit. How freaking hard can it be to simply allow us to specify what page should load on new tabs??? I know there are add-ons that do this, but Jesus Farking Christ, this is NOT difficult to implement. Get your heads out of your asses, Firefox devs!

"Background tabs are no longer loaded by default, a move intended to speed up the startup process, and smooth scrolling is now enabled by default."

For people who don't know how to turn this off, they're getting screwed. I hope mozilla realizes that these things are terrible.

I've just updated and now it feels like my mouse scrolling is a tad sluggish.

Turn off smooth scrolling. It sucks.

ha as soon as I checked this article I noticed the update manager was ready and yep its FF. I use a speed dial addon so thats better than most visited. I don't think I'd want that anyway. Don't care about the homepage I mean how many people keep mozilla's page by default?? I guess I can get rid of smoothwheel now. Yayyyyy faster boot times yayyy bug fixes yayyyyyy Thats all I got to say about that. #ForrestGump

I am perfectly fine with the new Firefox, I am fine with Beta, and Nightly. I love the rapid updates too. My 15 or so add-ons work perfectly, all the time, in all of the versions. Firefox feels just as fast as chrome too. I really do not understand everyone's frustration with firefox at the moment. Is your Firefox so mutilated and "custom" that maybe you are creating these problems yourself?

I've also NEVER had problems with firefox, other than add-ons not working shortly after updates. I just wish they would stop trying to turn FF into chrome or IE. I've been using FF since gotta be version 1 and have liked it because it was not like the competition AND I could customize it with add-ons so that it would work and look the way I wanted to. That has always been the beauty of FF, customization, which is probably what hurts it the most---bad/buggy add-ons. I keep my add-ons to 8 and I make sure to disable un-wanted plugins(google update, MS drm...why are you in my FF!) The FF devs need to take a look at what's important and stop trying to make a chrome-clone.

Congratulations, but you don't represent the tens of millions millions who use FF (shocking, I know). I use FF for extensive Web Development work, and several of my extensions JUST started working with FF12.

"Is your Firefox so mutilated and "custom" that maybe you are creating these problems yourself?"

If your FF isn't custom, you should be using Chrome. Also, applying the term "mutilated" to anyone who doesn't use precisely the same add-ons as you is beyond retarded.

I think the "most visited pages" could be done without. I never used that feature either when I was actually using Chrome for a couple of weeks (stopped due to lack of the plug-ins and features I needed that Firefox had.

I'm getting tired of their rapid releases and the update pop ups. Then there's the issue with addon compatibility. I used to love FF but I've been using Chrome as of late because it's noticeably faster. I still like aspects of FF but I feel they're starting to lose it.

They are so addicted to their idiotic rapid release program that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel to find things to add just so they can add a new release. They don't have a clue what their users find important anymore.

The only problem is that the homepage of FF is BORING. iGoogle is a great webpage. As for getting access to history and bookmarks, I have those right on the navigation toolbar. The settings, addons, etc is accessible simply by hitting the ALT key.
No, use iGoogle as the default webpage.
As for the 9 pages that are displayed in the new tab screen, I use icons for my most read pages pinned in the bookmarks toolbar. I get 25 or so there.
HOWEVER, FF lets me have a a SIDEBAR for HISTORY and BOOKMARKS. Until Chrome does the same, FF forever!

What? You desire Scooby-Do and the gang to be on your web page? Well, why not request for a change webpage option or create it yourself as an add-on? I'm sure you're not alone with the sentiment FF's web page is so bland...

I'm anti-anything that has to do with showing a list of your most visited sites. I'm afraid to know what it is I'm visiting most. I already have to disable auto-complete and Google's best guess options; now I have to fear people simply starting up my browser?

Capt', exactly where DO you go browsing? Heh. Anyone would looked at my history would be pretty bored. Mostly tech sites and WSJ.
There was a furor over the cops attaching GPS trackers onto cars. If they did that to me, they would see: Groceries, library, beach, beach, groceries, gas, KAYAK to pick up my son, gas, library, etc.
If you are at work, for Gods sake, stay off the web! There is NO reason to put your job at jeopardy for the temporary pleasure of surfing. NO REASON.
I post my real name (John Pombrio) on most sites that I comment on. If my name is on it, I tend to behave better.

And done. I put my real name on my account here. "KABOOM! There should have been an earth shattering KABOOM. Oh darn, someone stole my Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator!" See, nothing bad happens...
