I donot reccomend any McAfee products. Dubious products and business practices.

I am using and reccomend MS Essentials. It's lightweight, fast, not to mention free and doesn't annoy.

I recommend replacing McAfee with something that works.  Not going to go into details, but I have seen McAfee cause more issues on systems than Norton AV...

There are much better alternatives (some free, some paid), that don't need to control and monitor every single friggin aspect of what you are doing on your computer.

I received a popup message saying something similar, but it gave me a choice to disable it so I kept it active. Haven't encountered an issue since then.

I recommend replacing it with NoScript :P
