Microsoft's "Olympics on the Go" Download Coverage Only Going to Vista

Earlier this week Microsoft reaffirmed its decision to kill off XP at the end of the month, but vowed to support the OS through 2014. Apparently that support doesn't include the 2008 Olympics, giving Microsoft the Gold in 'Most Ways to Shove a Bloated OS Down Consumers' Throats.' Through a partnership with Wavexpress and its TVTonic client, Vista Ultimate and Home Premium users can download "up-to-HD" coverage at no charge.
Before you upgrade to Vista just to watch the Olympics, know your alternatives. Coverage will be splattered all over television, and NBCOlympics.com will host a live Webcast of the events. You'll need Microsoft's Silverlight framework to view the streaming video, but unlike Olympics on the Go, support isn't limited to just Vista PCs.

It sounds like a typical maneuver of Microsoft. It still won't get me to go with Vista. Actually looking into Linux Stagecoach to completely get away from Microsoft.
