But will upgrades lead to windows not functioning all that well, as they currently do? Also, it would be nice if it could download drivers for stuff during setup of a clean install (or if not, at least offer to once the networking works). I mean, it already recognizes most gigabit ethernet cards OOTB, so if it also did wireless ones too (even if performance is sub-optimal, if it at least worked decently), you'd definitely be able to use it to get the drivers, with no CD or thumb drive to provide theminvolved.

Next up for Microsoft, how to make Windows idiot proof. All the way from turning technical information, such as, "How many partitions would you like?" to, "yo, mutha fucka, u want 2 slices of the cake or 1?"

"Where would you like to store this file on your hard disk drive, which is your permanet storage, not memory, which is entirely something different, sir!" to, "yo, mutha fucka, u want to store tis shit permanetly in memory?"

and my personal favorite

"Where would you like to install this program? Options = C:\program files" to, "yo, mutha fucka, hit install."

To me the difference between vista and win 7 is like the difference between win 98 se and millenium. Almost none.

True, not much difference between Vista and Win 7, Only Win 7 is what Vista should have been.
