Did you peeps even bother to read the article? ugh!

As it says only the Metro style app version of IE is affected by this.

The full blown IE 10 on Windiws 8 is NOT effected what so ever.

Oh My God... You just replied to a comment which clearly states: All Windows 8 tablets will have Flash! Just not through the Metro interface!

Honestly, how f***ing dumb can you get?

How does Microsoft stop Flash from being installed with Firefox or internal to Chrome? If they disable it in IE that will only reduce IE's market share.

Adobe won't take it lying down. Apple got away with it on the idevices because of a limited market share. Windows on the other hand is a monopoly on the desktop. This could be perceived as Microsoft's attempt to use that monopoly to stifle competition.

I still think Flash needs to go, and in fact, Adobe either needs to step up its A-Game or be phased out of existence in a slow death.

Flash has its uses (vector animation, namely, a lot of America cartoons are done in Flash), but I feel it and the Adobe Reader plugin are the only two things that routine break my internet browsers, no matter where I go.
