Memory-Wiping App Makes it Onto the Android Market

Google's Android OS was supposed to pave the way for an iPhone killer, but instead of decimating the iPhone, Android-users are instead finding their contacts being wiped out. The culprit isn't Android itself, but an Android application called MemoryUp users claim is responsible for erasing their contacts, installing adware, and even freezing their phone.
"Doesn’t work at all erased my phone numbers and froze my phone," one user complained. "Do not download. Destroyed my memory card/system delete. Then my email was spammed. TMobile can’t stop you from downloading this! So don’t!," added another user.
The app, created by Peter Liu, claims to keep Android smartphones running faster and efficiently by monitoring system use and freeing up resources when needed. But some users contend the program is nothing more than a scam. Buyer beware.

I downloaded this app a while ago and used it. It doesn't appear to do anything. I thought perhaps it was like one of those dumbass memory defrag things or it flushed unused data from memory. I never lost a single contact from this. But like alot of apps I download them and use them once and then forget about them. I'll go ahead and uninstall it just to be on the safe side.
But what is so cool about android is that it's all open source.
I do have the best application ever devised for the Cell Phone. It really puts the latest in Cell Phone technology to great use. It is The Noble Fart. The Noble Fart has a timer so you can set the timer for say 10seconds and then select a fart sound and then put the phone in your back pocket with the volume lever at it's highest setting and then insert yourself with a group of women talking and when the phone fart starts you mess up your face so that people believe it's real. Well that's what I do with it anyhow.

Expect this on an open source phone such as the G1. Next up is a symantec suite with a yearly renewal fee to stop these things from happening. That's the one good thing about Winmobile PRO 6.1, is that it is pretty much the same on every phone except there are differences the carrier makes to them to make the phone unique so it's hard to code malicious software.
I want that FART app!!!!

There is another app called Jack & Jiggle. The app has a pic of a beautiful girl and as you jack the phone up and down the girl moans and then the phone vibrates and the pic changes to another picture of a girl. This app really showcases the latest in Cellphone Technology and it really impresses my friends at work. Well my guy friends. The ladies at work pretend to be shocked. I even got a slap in the face but it was pretend..
