That's terrible! I hope companies like Classmate.com gets sued and have to pay back every penny they illegally earned plus damages!
Speaking of online ad frauds, what's with MaximumPC advertising these scams lik "[YOUR CITY] mom discovers a secret way to white teeth" or "abs in x weeks"?!?!? Not cool.

Uh... We've changed out business practices??
Is it just me, or does this sound to anyone else like they went in front of a Judge and said "We've stopped robbing people at gunpoint, now we pick their pockets."??

This whole thing really pisses me off. It hasn't happened to me personally, but if it did, I would sue the living SHIT out of the company that sold my credit card info without my consent! If there's something buried in the deep recesses of their fine print, I'd sue their ass for making it too complicated for everyday customers and sue for the selling of my information. That is nothing but pure thievery.

"Others aren’t convinced, arguing that the only way to curb the practice is to make it illegal for retailers to sell customer’s personal information."
I agree with that.

Changed their business practices? They should slam their crooked a$$es in jail! Make an example of them so that the other snakes out there might think twice before trying to 'legitametly' scam their customers.
