Vista unpopular? Heh. Wait till the public gets a load of Windows 8/Metro.

Will i still get support for Mojave edition?

enterprise, it's all about the enterprise

That's why XP is still big,

if you were an adopter of Vista you worked out the bugs and held in there for enterprise- as the cost was high to move to 64 bit vista

if you were like my company (big worldwide one) and stayed on XP - you held off and only now start making the push to win 7 64

but if my company had made the vista move- we would not be making a win 7 move now

vista/win7/win8

all the same

Windows Vista - win 7 - win 8 are all the same OS

Who actually cares about this realistically anyway? After all, lots of people still use XP even though it's been in extended support since April 2009. (http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?ln=en-gb&c2=1173)

That said, I'd think that most people who had Vista would've upgraded to Win7 by now. (I don't think the same thing will hold true for Win8 though, with the metro crap...)

whats funny is I work for a defense contractor and their whole IT department and NOC staff are all running Vista on their machines, while other employees such as myself are running XP. ha

I'm at a defense contractor, too. Nearly all our users are on XP and the IT department is all on Windows 7 or Mac OS X

Damn, my laptop was running Vista, good think it can run Windows 8.

i doubt many would actually trow more money away at vista for Hotfixes unless they needed vista for some office pc related reasons.

I dont know why anyone would still be holding out, an OEM copy of Windows 7 is very reasonably priced. I got my Windows 7 Ultimate system builders copy for much less than even the Windows 7 Ultimate OEM

I think the System Builder version IS the OEM version.
