Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard Now Available, Only Through Dell

The general consensus is that Logitech's latest gaming keyboard, the G19, is better in nearly every way than the G15 it's poised to replace. And if you want to get your hands on one, you finally can, but you'll have to order it from Dell. According to tech news site Engadget, Dell somehow managed to snag a 30-day sales exclusive on the keyboard.

We've already posted a hands-on impression of the G19 way back in January of this year, which you can read here. The most notable improvement of the G19 is the inclusion of a bright 320x240 tilting LCD screen. Users can view the time, resource load, VoIP communication data, and even watch YouTube videos on the nifty display, in addition to a host of other uses.

More macro keys are found on the G19, along with the ability to adjust the color of the backlight. All in all, it's a worthy successor to one of the most popular gaming keyboards on the market.

The G19 is available now through Dell for $180 (plus tax and shipping).

I think I'll stick with my G11.  I have no need for the LCD screen, plus I already have 18 macro keys.

avatarMacro Profiles

I should have been more clear. While the physical amount of macro keys are less, each one is programmable with with up to 3 profiles each, allowing for up to 36 customized macros.

avatarYou seem to be the only one

You seem to be the only one in the world that needs 5 billion macro keys.  I could care less if it had none :) Welllllll maybe 6 :P I just like that this one is wide as the original g15 and the colour scheme is MUCH better then that awful orange crap of the g15 v2

avatari miss my x-keys keyboard

i miss my x-keys keyboard with 192 programmable macro keys, i have at least half of those badboys programmed to do my work.

i use at least 12 of my 18 macro keys. man, you really need to learn how to use those badboys, stop doing stuff manually.

avatarDoing what manually? I don't

Doing what manually? I don't do a ton of repetitve stuff actually, well rarely, certainly not often to spend the time programming a key to do it.

I just want the g19, now :(

The backlit keys are kinda cool, but an LCD screen? Meh. I'll stick with my Keytronic.
