Limited Edition Tron Controller for Xbox 360 Looks Rad
It's a shame there were only 250 "Collector's Edition Tron Wireless Controller" devices ever made, because the thing looks f'in awesome. On the bright side, it's not grossly overpriced (it runs $50), despite the limited edition run.
According to the product description, "this controller represents Clu, the current dictator of the Tron world, and the The Black Guard, his elite fighting force." Orange accents light up and run across the top and bottom portions, while the Tron logo sits on the bottom middle.
It also comes with rubber grips sporting a soft-touch finish, and none of it looks gaudy, at least from the pictures we've seen.
Are you as infatuated with the design as we are? If so, keep your eyes peeled. PDP.com will offer up the limited edition controller as a Web exclusive in "late December."

Needs a cyan competitor. I would totally get one. I don't even have a 360.

What's with all the hate on wired controllers? They're cheaper and you don't have to buy batteries for them. Win-win IMO. Plus, the cables these days are way longer than 6ft (gamecube, I'm looking at you).
PC Gamers always talk about how wireless mice and keyboards are a joke for serious gaming. Why is it different with console gamers?

Where is the rollerball? I can't play Tron without the giant marble!

If that thing was wireless, your batteries would probably be depleted in less than 15 hours of game time because of the power sucking orange glowing thing.

As a Tron fan from way back in the day, this rocks! But I'm a bucket'o'disappointed that it's Xbox only. Once again, no love the PC gamer...
Hmm... Been looking to pick up a Wii, for Mario Bros, and they have a Tron controller for it and it looks a bit like one of the weapons from the Tron 2.0 game. That'll work...

xbox 360 controllers work on PCs. They even sale an adapter kit so you can use them wireless instead of the usb cord.

Hmm... Might be ok that way, but I would love a mouse, keyboard, and joystick (yes, I still play dogfighting games with a joystick - I'm old, sue me) decked out in Tron dress...
