Wow, wish we had handled HSBC this way. But then they were laundering a lot more than 6 billion.

If so-called hacktivists (Anon, Lulsec, etc..) really only wanted to do good, why wasn't the Liberty Reserve website targeted? As the saying goes, "Never crap in your own backyard"

Good article. I can see how it is news. It affects the economy and other parts of our lives. I don't see why this is on MaxPC tho. Did I miss something? Where is the technical news? I'm not complaining. Please, someone explain it to me.

Yeah I kind of agree.
But with that said sometimes on a slow "news" day other media outlets like the paper, radio, or TV news have to run "fluff" or "filler" pieces just to have something to report. I'd put this in that category, While it does have a bit of tech to it due to it having to do with on-line finances, it's a marginal MaxPC subject at best when you consider where MaxPC's mandate lies.
Still it was a bit interesting if nothing else.

It was purely online.

Clearly tech related,.

So I guess that makes every FB entry Tech related too?

were talking about digital coins. silver coins is one thing, and stock market too. nothing productive can come from this accept greed, when it crashes you are going to have some old grump kill himself over a stupid wad of bills. just like the great depression. materialistic idiot.
