Seriously, I hope this thing comes in other colors of leather.  Concept is cool though.

Geek evolution: pocket protector, fanny pack, computer that hangs from your belt/mouse.

what gets me about the netbook craze is that for a very long time manufacturers have tried to sell their mini computers here in the USA with extremely limited success. I remember the day they gave up and the last mini notebook was pulled off the shelves about eight years ago it was the Sony mini notebook. It was cute and awesome at the same time. I wanted one for my trucking business.

Although minis died away here in the USA the mini everything has always been extremely popular in Japan. In fact because of Japan r&d has been an ongoing affair.  These mini netbooks aren't new at all. I should think that Sony has some very high end mini netbooks that wont be as close to free as say the Eee PC but it will be a hell of alot more fully functional.

So when it comes to mini laptops like the netbooks I want something that might be available on the Japanese market. Sure it might cost about $2000 dollars but it's gotta be great.
