if the EULA is amended to include the right to demand the return of the software when the license expires

Autodesk must have put in a lot of long hours in AutoCAD designing the set of cast iron balls it took to whip up this EULA.
By the by, I never read Max PC's EULA. Am I supposed to be shipping your magazines back to you after I've read them?

Autocad is just making themselves look bad by doing this. And for what? Keeping one guy from selling off his software? The PR Dept and the Legal Dept should communicate more.

Vernor actually filed the suit because Autodesk kept having Ebay pull the items off. Eventually Ebay ended up closing his account because he kept selling them again. So he filed a lawsuit against Autodesk. There are other 3D and drafting programs out there that have full time employees that just search for their programs for sale illegally and get them removed from whatever site they are on.
