Looks like a great alternative to Win8 touch screens. It would keep the screen free from fingerprints and smudges and is less expensive than a 24 inch touch screen.

Let's just wait for the reviews and real life tests.

The company will be bought out be one of the giants soon... just watch.

This is, in a word, good. Very good for all things tech.

I know people have been having lots of fun with touch lately, but a part of me suspects that in... 5 to 10 years we're going to look back at touch-screens with amused incredulity. Kind of like the hair styles and clothes of the 80s. Smudging finger prints all over your screens just doesn't make much sense when you think about it.

THIS is what Microsoft needed to make Windows 8 a winner on all those PCs that don't have touch-screens. They should have done something with the Kinect, or pushed for more attention on aftermarket options like this. Put emphasis on the cool sexy factor. I know it's been said many times before, but I will say it again... Minority Report. People know how cool Tom Cruise looked doing all those gestures, people could want this! Assuming it works...

I can only hope they end up shipping to Canada.

YES! I have been waiting for this announcement for months!

I can't wait to use this in conjunction with Windows 8 and Steam Big Picture mode. Sure, it won't be as efficient or productive as a mouse and keyboard, but it'll be fun. I also wonder how FPSs will work with this too.

I am cautiously optimistic that it will be easily adapted to programs like Photoshop and Silhouette Studio (plotter/cutter device) for general purpose work.

I don't know if it will replace my mouse anytime soon, doubtful really, but being able to just reach out to the screen, "grab" something, and adjust it how I need to REALLY offers a lot of promise.

I highly doubt I will use it for any games, it just doesn't seem useful in that capacity, but to "trace" a pattern in Silhouette Studio with my finger(s) sounds handy.

Holy crap that looks fun. I can think of a few presentation halls that would love to have this feature.

I really want to get this just to play around with it. Other than that, I have no idea what I would actually use it for with Win 7. What would its use be in day to day life? Maybe I am not thinking out of the box.
