Why the name change?

Why the name change? Anyone who was effected by windows live search certainly isn't going to be fooled by re-branding tactics. Further, changing the name won't make it work better. And when they're changing the name to something most will not know what it means (I don't) just to be hip, no one is going to remember it any better.

Microsoft is a great and pioneering company, that has lost their way. They must focus on what is important, making what we want work, rather than making what they want and forcing us into thinking we want it. Until then, they might as well change it to another K word that rhymes with "rap".

Decided to do a whois on the

Decided to do a whois on the kumo.com domain and I got this,

Name Server: NS.ANYCAST.SEARCH.LIVE.COM
Name Server: NS.USEAST.SEARCH.LIVE.COM
Name Server: NS.USWEST.SEARCH.LIVE.COM 

This isn't much of a rumour anymore >.>

Dead Search

I love MS and Its products, make my living by MS.  To Be honest, I am confused with all of the crap they have, live messenger, live search, live office.  They are so busy trying to be everything for everybody, they are loosing track as to what they want to do.  Never used LiveSearch nor yahoo, went from lycos straight to google.  Been trying cuil.com cant quite get there with it.

 

Just buy yahoo and be happy being number two in search.
