And they are still in stock at NewEgg, a full 10 hours after being released. that is a record for anything Kepler these days.

I think people rather pay the extra 100.00 for the GTX 680 I wouldn't mind paying 299.00 or something but 400.00 can buy alot of stuff.

PC Gamer has 2 670's benchmarked already. One that is OC'ed and one that isn't. http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/05/10/nvidia-launches-geforce-gtx-670-zotacs-amp-reviewed/

Dang, that link is impressive, Storm! These multiple launches of cards between NVidia and AMD is getting some amazing cards out of it. Right now, if the stock 670 o/cs well enough to match the 680, this will be the sweet spot for most gamers (like the 2nd tier i7 CPUs were).

now it would be the 3570k....i thnk we'll see alot of people with gtx 670, core i5 3570k rigs

i will be picking one of these up next month to go along with my i5 3570k. just finished building it a few minutes ago. still using good old trusty ati 4870 until then

I think I'll probably end up taking 1 of these over the 680, but still plan to wait until the price drops later this year. I'm in no hurry and am not really hurting for a new GPU right now. Can't wait til i get it though, price/performance is getting very appealing with this years releases. Though, if they decided to completely hold back the 110... gotta make me wonder how beast it has to be that they don't want it out yet.

For the first time I skipped the flagship model and went with the 470 a couple of years ago and it was fantastic!

Even though now its looking a bit long in the tooth, it ran everything on max for such a long time and saved me a couple of hundred bucks! I will def be skipping the 680 and getting this when it hits Aus. By then the price has usually dropped a bit.

Plus the way PC games are looking these days, unless your hitting a surround setup your pretty sweet to run anything *cough* console ports *cough*

I remember a few years back when Maximum PC did a comparison of various video card and how well they performed when playing videos, etc... That is why I have an ATI/AMD (6790) sitting in my HTPC now. I am curious to see how the AMD 7000 series compare to the new Nvidia 600 series...

I got up this morning and saw PC Perspective had their review up, and now I'm soo tempted to get one of these cards!!

It looks like AMD is getting pushed hard this generation, and I don't know if they will even be able to do enough price cuts to stay competitive. The big question is going to be whether NV will actually keep up with stock and have cards available unlike the GTX 680 and 690!

You can check out the PCper review below, but where's the MaximumPC review? Are they still looking for a GPU editor since Loyd went to PC World?

Well I put in my order after reading several glowing reviews. They say it's as good if not better than the 580 because it uses less power and as stated below if overclocked can be as good as a stock 680. Should have my hands on this puppy on Saturday! Woo-Hoo!

Well, looks like I might just reconsider my upgrade using AMD parts. I just read the review over on pcgamer.com. The 670 is 50% more powerful than a 7850 and when overclocked is almost as powerful as a stock 680. Eagerly awaiting what the gtx-660ti can do. Color me impressed Nvidia. O_O

How are there so many grammar errors for a production post? I expect better, Paul!

I sure wish they'd release the next step down (Kepler's version of the GTX 460). These two cards would be wasted on my X4 980 BE. I need a new, efficient card that's about the power of a GTX 580 (GTX 660?).

When I saw a review elsewhere, they took it apart... And you know that fan? There's no PCB under there. The card is SHORT. In fact, the card is even more impressive than the GTX 680, as it's able to keep its own against even the HD7970.

Where the hell has Kepler's engineering team been all this time?

I should read better lol
