This is nice, to have both USB and e-SATA on the same device, but is the device fast?  What is the read and write speed of the device?  That's as important as the connection type if not more.

I have a USB key that writes at 19Mb/s and reads at 23Mb/s, it's a lot faster than those cheep Sandisk key at 9.99$ that wites at 5Mb/s and read at 9Mb/s!!!

Why??? Most USB keys don't saturate USB 2.0 anyways...

Dammit, I just bought a 32gb Corsair survivor.  Oh well, I'll probably loose this one in the same short period I lost my last usb drive.  Then it's eSATA speed, and explaining to my wife why I'm dropping another $100 something I'll probably loose in too short a time period.

After loosing so many, it may be worth it.
