Don't blame AMD for Intel's delays. According to Intel geeks, AMD don't even have a clue as to what year it is...

With no serious competition from AMD they have less incentive to bust their butts trying to rush chips out the door. Why force a mark down on all the left over Sandy Bridge chips when you can still get a price premium for them.

So we've had Sandy Bridge, now Ivy Bridge. I wonder when we'll get Suspension Bridge, Rail Bridge or Rickety Bridge.

This is what we get when there is no real competition. Delays and slowed development.

Sigh.
