Intel Announces Casemod Contest Winners

A few months ago Intel launched the Intel Core i7 Custom Challenge, in which modders were encouraged to submit their best case mods to a panel of judges at Intel in hopes of winning up to $10k in prizes.
Well, the results are in. You can check out pictures of the winning mods at the contest site. One particular standout was the Best for Mod Creativity winner that modded a boombox to house his i7 Extreme PC.
Intel launched the contest to generate more hype around the i5 and i7 processors and the flexibility of their components.
Which ones do you like best, and which ones could have been done better?

These mods look like they were done by preschoolers. Seriously, go to bit-tech and look at the mods those people are doing. Now those are works of art. These are just lame. I mean seriously, you turned an xbox case into a PC, wow so not cool.

Wheres the good mods. Ones that arent just water cooling systems. MPC shows really nice ones in their magazines, but these are just junk.

At first I was all ready to disagree with your statement. I mean this contest is hosted by Intel. Then I went to look at these mods. Wow.... just wow. These things are weak sauce compared to the stuff I've seen roll off of some modders work stations this year.

The best mod in the US...is a mod of an 8 year old system...like that's never been done before. Did the judges even care? Oh wait...now that I see the number of submissions, I'm starting to think they didn't.
