Correct me if I'm wrong, but JB has been OTA'd to versions of the Nexus S and versions of Galaxy Nexus too. Not just Nexus 7. I'll tell you also that RuJellin Rom is the most stable Rom that I've ever used. I'm on Sprint Galaxy Nexus 4.1.1.

Sure wish Dell was still supporting there tablet, really ticked me off when they stopped selling them in the us right after I got on as I like it, works well for what I need. Just wish I could update it to ICS or Better yet JB. Never rooted any android device and don't want to brick it trying.

I received ICS for my Rezound yesterday and have been playing with the phone non-stop ever since. Hopefully Jelly Bean won't be too far behind... of course knowing Verizon they'll probably hold off on updating it for a long time if HTC decides to keep it updated after ICS.

I guess that's the price you pay for a system that's open to different configs.

JB on my xoom and nexus s. Works great on both, just finished upgrading my xoom actually.

I'm running ICS on my;

Droid Bionic(6.7.232)
Droid 2 Global(CM9)
Droid X(CM9)
Droid 3(CM9)

While I have JB on;

XOOM(EOS Nightlies)
Atrix(Kanged CMX)

None of my phones made it past Gingerbread "officially" the only exception is my Bionic which is running a leaked build of official ICS.

I have Cyanogenmod 7 (android 2.3) on my Nook and I'm not sure what I'm missing. FF3, GTA, Mass Effect -- Everything works great. What's the big deal?

It runs a lot better and my battery last longer. I went from CM7 on my Samsung Captivate to a stock version of ICS and it ran wonderfully. Two weeks ago I upgraded to Jellybean and I will never go back. Its so smooth and my phone battery life increased by 4 hours. Thats the big deal.

Wow nice. Battery life would definitely be nice

Yes, and I would like ICS on my Inspire 4G, HTC! Dude, almost every droid phone will never get ICS or JB for that matter except for the high end 400-600 dollar phones. What a load of BULLSHIT!

You have a HTC....that's your problem.

Except Samsung has said back in June that ICS is coming to the Tab 10.1 sometime in July or August. I'm hoping it doesn't get pushed back later than that.

avatar

Supall

Why wait? You have an HTC phone. You have ICS ROMs that you could flash yourself.

I have ICS running on my HTC Inspire 4G. it works great. before that i had coredriod. It sucks that the carriers are the bottleneck for updates. but i am glad for XDA and the community that help created guides to root devices and developers for creating ROMs that can be flashed. If not for them I would still be on 2.3.3

I thought about loading ICS on my Inspire. Eventually I decided to sell it and downgraded to a dumbphone instead :P

Many folks out there would rather sell/trade-in their old piece of technology for the latest/greatest instead of upgrading what they currently have.

For Pete's sake, can I have ICS on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 yet, Samsung?

Please?

Go to XDA Forums and get a ROM for ICS or JB.

Which would have already been done if it was my Tab. Since it belongs to my employer, I can't exactly run and do that.
