1)  I have had three PCs from iBuyPower (one of them for my dad) and each have been agreeable.  No major gripes.  I'm happy and will continue to get my gaming PCs from them.  And yes, I will go with SSD (my current PC has a Kingston SSD drive and it screams... plus I don't worry about hard drive failure any more).

2)  Why do lonely nerds always have to comment on a chick in a technology video?  This isn't about looks or sex appeal... it's about SSD drives and iBuyPower.  Stay on topic or, sure, make a comment and betray the fact that you sleep alone or at least have to trumpet your dick.  Better yet, go outside and you’ll see five or ten girls who look like her in ten minutes.  One of them may tolerate your presence.

3)  I noticed the building.  It looks nicer inside than I expected iBuyPower to look.  I thought all niche PC makers were starving?

1) That doesn't eliminate the potential for hard drive failure, it only removes some of the points of failure. You know that a clicking drive is often a controller fault? An SSD is one big controller. And nothing stops a surge from 100% being able to touch your stuff. Recovery is also impossible by comparision to a platter-based drive.

2) Did you skip marketing? "Sex sells." Agreed it's kind of "meh" to comment on the fact they're putting some sex appeal into it, but don't deny that it's used. A LOT. And do NOT tell me there are plenty of tech-savvy women out there who look like that. Good looks usually take maintenance, and being a "nerd" generally means being absorbed in a particular topic (which leads to time sacrifices). I don't argue that it's not a stupid comment, I argue that it's hard to find a woman who's as dedicated to tech as guys can be. I'll concede that I'm persoanlly intolerable because I can't tolerate their personalities and bullshit. :)

3) Why would a building physically degrade with the business?

Ibuypower laptops cannot survive a drop from waist high.

Also, they have hot employees.

That laptop was REALLY shitty to not turn on after a drop onto the carpet like that. I've dismantled my laptop multiple times in addition to having shit happen (like drops)... still turns on, and my MECHANICAL hard drive is still fine after about 4 years now.

My friend is much worse as he doesn't take ANY precaution with his laptop. It still works, with visible body damage... and the hard drive hasn't given up, either.

I like how IBP brought that around full circle that because Intel SSDs are so much tougher, it makes them the best bang for your buck.

Hate to play devil's advocate, but it would be very easy to swap the drive off camera. The only way I would truly believe that the drive is that tough is if it is a continuous feed. Also, I agree she is hot.
