iBuyPower just launched its new Professional Series line of workstations with modern powerhouse amenities like second generation Core i7 and Xeon processors, hardware RAID options, and Nvidia Quadro graphics cards. There are three baseline configurations to choose from, including the Professional Series Z68, Xeon, and X58, each one fully customizable with off-the-shelf hardware.
The Professional Series Z68 starts at $1,069 and includes an NZXT Source 210 mid-tower case, Core i7 2600 processor, CooIT Eco II liquid cooling system, 8GB of DDR3-1333, Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 motherboard, Nvidia GeForce GT 520 graphics card, 1TB hard drive (7200RPM, 32MB cache), 24X DVD burner, 650W Corsair power supply, and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
Starting at $1,389, the Professional Series Xeon comes with many of the same baseline components but ups the ante with a Xeon E3-1240 processor, Asus P8B WS C206 motherboard, Nvidia Quadro 600 graphics card, and two 1TB hard drives (7200RPM, 16MB cache) in RAID 1.
Finally, the Professional Series X58 starts at $1,999 and includes an Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 case, Core i7 960 processor, Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard, Nvidia Quadro 5000 graphics card, 12GB of DDR3-1333, 120GB Intel 510 SATA III SSD, two 1TB hard drives in RAID 1, 24X DVD burner, 750W Corsair power supply, and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
