Those phones look pretty spiffy. It's nice to see some more manufacturers breaking out (color wise) from the tried and true black.

I'm excited to upgrade from my HTC Trophy to a new WP8, but my contract won't be up for another 18 months. :(

I think my next device is going to be a Windows Phone 8 handset, but I'm holding out for A15 based hardware. It's likely that Samsung will be first with Exynos 5250 after Apple's own A6.

I hope that more manufactures start including a built in stand like Nokia and HTC has done in the past with a few of their models.

Looking forward to reading about how all these new devices handle taking pictures.

Actually a pretty cool-looking phone. No troll.

The 8X seems very similar to the Lumia 920. I don't care so much for the Beats Audio, but the front camera looks cool. I don't take many self-shot portraits, so it's not a deal-maker for me. The optical-image-stabilization looks more enticing on the Lumia 920, as well as taking brighter pictures. Hopefully the pricing will be competitive!

I love my older HTC Win phone ever since Win 7.5 has been available for it. As for storage, I have never come near needing all that storage. What I love is the easy and painless syncs to Outlook e mail, calandar and tasks Etc. I also love the live tiles instead of dead icons.
This new one sounds like my next phone.

No BT4.0 and no way to add more storage, unlike the 920 which has both.

The 8X will probably have BT 4.0 as well, it's running on the Snapdragon S4 chipset which supports it.

the 920 doesn't have micro SD expansion either

I meant the 820. The 920 is 32gig. Both have BT 4.0, confirmed via bluetooth.org.

Engadget lists these phones with the following Bluetooth versions:

Samsung ATIV S v3.0

Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 were announced with Bluetooth 3.1, however both received Bluetooth 4.0 certification something like 2 days ago.
