HP's "Chameleon" Concept Laptop Designed to Surf the Web, Avoid Predators

Designer Nikita Buyanov was commissioned by HP and Intel to design a series of conceptual laptops aimed at women, and the Chameleon is the end result.
The conceptual Chameleon features a series of three cameras, which it uses to blend in to its surroundings, by means of “adaptive microcell coverage” (also, it’ll blend into your pants pretty well).
Some of the other concepts are a machine that can be used as a scale that’s aimed at fitness, and even a pink notebook that can give manicures. While these ideas seem a bit lofty, it sure is fun to see what designers come up with when they’re put under a bright light!
To see the other concepts, check out Buyanov’s page, here.

Why would anyone want their computer to have the ability to give a manicure? Computers are awesome at many things, but never will be at manicures.

If the adaptive camo is too good, you could put the laptop down and not be able to find it when you need it...

Ok you walk in on a girl that is changing her clothes and she is topless and she grabs this laptop to cover her nudity. What will the laptop coloring look like?

All of the ideas suck, including the fact that they're supposed to be "geared towards women". I mean really, did this dude actually interview women, or is this his idea of what we are supposed to like?

Geared towards women? Not fair...I'd appreciate something that interesting moreso than my fiancee would.
I don't like Microsoft, I just associate with it.

I'm waiting for the light bright display that you have to put colored pegs into the display to show information.
Ok perhaps my idea wont catch on so it's going to be everyone elses loss.

Considering you'll be jamming pegs in as fast as possible, I bet it will be measured in "hurts". :)
