Has Facebook Partnered with Baidu in China?
According to reports in the Chinese media, Facebook has signed a deal with China's largest search engine, Baidu. The agreement would give rise to a jointly-owned social networking site available in the Chinese mainland. The government would need to approve the deal, which could mean a long wait until we know what the final product would look like. One thing's for sure though, it won't be Facebook.
The Facebook domain has been blocking in China for years, as are other similar sites and services. By creating a site from the ground up with a home-grown company, Facebook may be able to placate the Chinese government. It might be the only way Facebook can get into the booming Chinese market.
Facebook has denied that any deal have been signed at this time, but is "currently studying and learning about China". Do you think Zuckerberg is planning to work with Baidu?

Given suckerberg and his company's track record, I would say he would turn a blind eye to anyone to exploit and make a buck. However, I think he will have a hard time in China, as they would want more access and control than he would have, or be willing to give.
