I have found Google Music to be absolutely amazing. I just received my access a week and a half ago and have been hooked since. Not only is it beyond convenient to upload my Amazon MP3 purchases (which doesn't bother me) via some software, I can access it anywhere in the world. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon, but Google pwns the internet. Incorporate that with my HTC Evo 4G and you get musical bliss without the need for an extra MP3 player. I also love being able to cache music for offline use and/or download it to my phone permanently. The only con I would have to say is the lack of EQ in the app (or on the droid period). I am picky about sound and this bothers me; especially after having X-Fi most of my PC/MP3 Player life. Incorporate that, I would consider it perfect. Sure there are always ways to improve; but in general I don't need an over the top player. I need four main features: Access to my music library (easily), an EQ, Shuffle/Repeat functions, and high quality MP3 files. Google has all of that (no lie, you can actually keep the quality of your MP3 files instead of dumbing them down). Keep up the good work Google! Now to get Google+ to replace Facebook.......

It's probably just the fact that i have the Motorola Droid running at stock speeds, but the new Google Music app seems to run extremely slowly compared to the previous app. All of the fancy backgrounds and transitions seem to be the culprit. I would have hoped that they could have at least added a graphic equalizer to make it worthwhile. If i had an extra 10 bucks, i would, without a doubt, purchase PowerAmp.

I hope it stays in beta forever because I've got almost 20,000 songs and most of them are up in the cloud now with a little more than 2000 left to upload. It's slow going but man being able to stream all that music to my laptop, my wifes laptop, my cell phone, my wife's cell phone, and my Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet. Life is good.

I believe "Life is good" should be replaced with "With Google, life is good!" Glad you like it! That's a lot of music!

I've been using Google Music beta since about two weeks after the initial release...and I'll never go back to anything LESS than anytime, anywhere, on anything (with a browser) access!

I'm sure there will be some sort of music store in the works, but that doesn't bug me in the least; I now have the ability to rip every CD I own; every song I've purchased and d/l'd FROM ANYWHERE I have it currently stored, and have a secure back up and access solution in one.

Sort'em anyway you want; play'em anyway you want; as often as you want (there's even a number of times played column in case you're old like me and forgot when you last listened to a particular song or playlist)

I've officially become a Google drone, part of the collective...and I don't WANT to resist! :)

So you would tell Morpheus to go to hell and take the Blue pill wouldn't you Mr. Anderson.
