Owning an iPhone I didn't realize they had a cap on Android apps. It's unfortunate that Android users have had to miss out on many great games but hopefully they will no longer. I own many great games that are well over 50MB that I would recommend such as Infinity Blade II.

I can see the masses screaming about data caps on this.

You have never attempted to download an app that tells you "WiFi required for install"? I have, several times. And those were for apps less than 50MB.

No, I haven't, simply because I don't own a smartphone.

Not all require an internet connection.

That does not mean add several pointless graphical layers to your application now. Stick to low processing consumption, easy navigation, compactness and relevant data. The extra space will come in handy for building solid instructional/learning applications. :)
