Death, taxes, and the Google phone are all certainties, with the latter being added to the list by Gizmodo.
According to Gizmodo a “trusted” but unnamed source has actually seen a Google phone. Gizmodo adds the phone won’t just be a run-of-the-mill Android device, but something special: Google-branded and running a new or different version of Android. (No, not Chrome OS.)
Gizmodo further reports prototypes, sporting large LCDs, will soon get a public introduction.

It will be a phone. Running google apps with a google search. Android OS. It will have google emblems plastered all over it. It will be ugly. It will suck a$$ if on the AT&T network. I have played with android based phones and it's no better than webOS or HTC's sense.

It definitely won't be on the AT&T network. Considering that would be a direct conflict of interest with Apple, and their almighty smartphone.
