Gigabyte Gives Gaming Keyboard Market a Go
Gigabyte is gearing up to release its first real gaming keyboard, which will join a long line of multimedia keyboards already under the company's belt. Unlike those other planks, however, Gigabyte's new Alvia K8100 is built for fragging and to look good while doing it.
"Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard solves the challenge of designing a keyboard that simulates a sleek and eye-catching sports car on all elements, but still keeps the keyboard under an ideal size and optimal ergonomic gaming keyboard design," Gigabyte says. "For example: the huge wrist rest with Aivia logo resembles sports car hood; Twin USB ports on the two sides are similar to sports car’s exhaust system and the considerate volume indicating lights are compared to sports car’s rear lights, etc."
Less hokey are the gaming features, which include macro keys, profile changer, 20 anti-ghost keys, macros, three different built-in keystroke forces (70g, 60g, and 50g), and internal memory so you can take your macros with you from PC to PC.

Erm... The Gigabyte K8100 has been out for awhile. I have one. I've had it for months. It cost about $70.
I really like it. Love the backlit keys.
