German Study: 20-Somethings Prefer Internet to Cars, Love
Spouses and cars may come and go, but the internet is where the true passion lies. Or at least that's how the overwhelming majority of respondents felt in a new survey by German broadband association Bitkom.
According to the study, a whopping 84 percent of respondents between the ages of 19 and 29 admitted they would rather give up their significant other or automobile rather than become untethered from the web. And don't even think about taking away those cell phones - all but 3 percent couldn't fathom going through their day-to-day routine without a mobile phone.
Just don't mistake the findings for social indifference, says Bitkom president August-Wilhelm Scheer. Out of the 1,000 people who participated in the survey, about half of them attributed web forums and internet communities to having made new friends. And 8 percent said they found a partner online
Apparently this whole internet thing might catch on after all.

This statistic is just, how should I put it, incredibly unbelievable! I work at an used car West Palm Beach dealership and between work and my wife I have some free time that I spend on the Internet but that's because she has to go to work and our schedules are not perfect. I would pick her over the Internet in the blink of an eye!

There are many other studies that show a correlation between internet and car buyers. An example would be this study on used car shoppers, which examines the role of the Internet in the used-vehicle shopping process. The study finds that the average amount of time spent by automotive Internet users shopping for a used vehicle online has climbed 15 percent-from 4.8 hours in 2002 to 5.5 hours in 2003.

I think that the bigger the car the more chances you have to search a lot for the best Car Covers because it is hard to do some covers so big but sill so necessary ,and I am glad that this thing is easier today .

LOL such a crazy survey...I wonder where they get funding for that! I can absolutely see how this is the case...these days, you can literally do everything online. Who needs a car!??! You can shop, learn, create, pray, even meet your significant other after combing through a few online dating sites! Going out is overrated... :-)

I have indeed scored some booty with the use of my computer being connected to the internet. I never ever tried a dating site though. I've only met girls at websites with java based chat programs like Parachat. I used to hang out at ArtBell.com and I met a few girls there when he had parachat. He removed the chat feature because everyone was having sex with each other but him.
I'm 30something and I can say with a straight face that sex is alot more important than the internet. But it can work hand in hand so to say. You can use the internet to meet someone for sex or you can use the internet to look at pictures and videos of other people having sex and you can join in yourself.. Um... LOL..
The internet is more of a tool for enjoyment while sex is enjoyment.
