Genius Kicks Off GX Gaming Series with Nine-Button 'DeathTaker' Mouse
"DeathTaker" sounds like the name of a professional wrestler or monster truck, but it's actually a new gaming mouse by Genius that's now available in North America. The DeathTaker is being pitched as a professional MMO and RTS rodent and is the debut product of the peripheral maker's GX Gaming Series, with more products to be unveiled through the coming the months.
There are nine buttons to play with and customize, which you can do through Genius' "Scorpion" UI. Using the UI, gamers can manage macros for up to 55 keys in 5 profiles and choose from a selection of 16 million backlight colors. A smidgen of onboard memory saves the settings and stores your customized macros inside the rodent so you can access them from any computer.
Gamers can independently adjust the X and Y axis from 100 dpi to 5700 dpi, as well as fine tune the weight of the DeathTaker with six metal weights, each of which checks in at 4.5g.
The DeathTaker carries an MSRP of $80.

Will anyone ever design a decent gaming mount for left handed people? Or since mice can be taken apart and modified now make one that can be either.

I've known many left handed people, including myself. None of them have ever used a mouse left handed. I don't think that there are enough people who use a mouse left handed to justify making a left handed mouse. There are a lot of symmetric gaming mice, though, where you can use them with either hand.

I'm ok with the neutral shaped mice but none of the gaming mice with all the extra buttons and features seem to be designed this way.

I really like steelseries sensei. It's not specifically designed for left handers but it's neutral shaped for both left and right.

I'm not seeing anything new features here. What are they offering to people to make them choose Genius over Logitech/Razer?
