Welcome, guys and gals, to the inaugural edition of the Gaming Roundup. The aim of this little column? Well, if you can’t deduce that from reading the title, then Lord bless you, at least you’re trying. Regardless, I implore you to sit back, relax, and enjoy some gaming news in tiny, fun-sized pieces. And if that doesn’t work, you can just read this article.

Best selling PC games for May 2008 announced

Finally! Some action in the charts. Age of Conan has managed to dethrone perennial tops of the pops The Sims 2 and World of Warcraft. I guess the hardcore WoW players are finally bored with their game of choice, so they’ve decided to pack up their Tier Six Enhancement sets and move on. So, will Wrath of the Lich King save WoW? Does it need saving?

Spore Creature Creator Spawns 400,000 Critters – And Counting

In only a single day, avid gamers gave birth to 250,000 occasionally-frightening Spore creations. Now, a mere two days later, the count is up to 400,000. Anyone who doubted whether or not Will Wright's outlandish evolution simulator would strike a chord with potential players can stop now. So, anyone want to be on how many millions of copies the game's going to sell?

Zero Punctuation Reviews Haze

Everyone's favorite angry Brit takes a stab at PS3 FPS Haze -- and then he takes a few more. Don't worry, I cringed too.

Crysis Warhead Easier on PCs Than Its Predecessor

In a recent interview, a Crytech employee divulged details on Crysis Warhead's system specs and, apparently, they won't be too bad. 30fps with high detail settings on a $600 machine? Sounds...doable!

No LucasArts Games at E3

Now, don't misread the headline. LucasArts will be at E3, but they won't be announcing anything new. No Star Wars: Knights of Old Republic 3, Star Wars Battlefront 3, and probably no news on the next-gen Indiana Jones either. Wait, why are they attending again?

WoW maybe getting level 30 mounts

Now getting ganked in Grom Gol will be slightly speedier. Or something.

avatarCrysis: Warhead

If it includes less requirements, I hope the game will be just as 'good looking' and handsome' as its
father, the orginal Crysis. The game's snapshot's occasionally stunned me with the power of DX 10.

But if Crysis: Warhead uses the marvelous power of DX 11 (Coming for Vista and Windows 7), I have one thing
to say, wow.
