You lose arguments with inanimate objects.

You have to hold onto the lawn to keep from falling off the earth.

Your job is interfering with your drinking.

Your doctor finds traces of blood in your alchohol stream.

Your career won't progress beyond Senator from Massachusetts.

The back of your head keeps getting hit by the toilet seat.

You sincerely believe alchohol is the elusive 5th food group.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case - coincidence? I think not!

Two hands and just one mouth.. - now THAT'S a drinking problem!

You can focus better with one eye closed.

Hey, for those that like this item I have a few new product ideas I'll like to sell you:

1.) Faux-Diamond encrusted toilet seat -- when only the very best will do. Includes special robotic AutoWipe arm and cleaning solution. MSRP $1999.95.

2.) The iDetector -- a smoke alarm that allows you to upload tunes of your choice to be played in the event of a fire. No more obnoxiously loud and shrill alarm sounds! MSRP $699.95 for the 8MB model, $899.95 for the 16MB model. As an added bonus the 16MB model comes with a 1.5" B&W LCD display, perfect for playing games and watching movies! Both games and movies can be conveniently downloaded from the iDetector website (games are currently $79.95, movies are $99.95)!

3.) Laser Can Opener -- no more hassle opening those pesky cans of vegetables, tuna fish, or pet food! This patented table-top device uses an energy-efficient CO2 laser that slices thru even the thickest of cans, leaving a safe, clean edge! MSRP $2499.95. Also available is the "Smooth 'n Silky" attachment which allows you to use the Laser Can Opener as a facial dermabrasion device! MSRP $1299.95.

Wouldn't the battery leak after 2 years anyways?

That's ridiculous. But IF I Were looking to buy a $300 flashlight, I'd probably go with this little beast..

at least with this I could have some fun...

the worthless overpriced crap that some manufacturers come up with. If the flashlight lasted 1000 years it is still priced about twenty times what it is worth. You'd have to be pretty gullible to spend $300.00 on a flashlight no matter how much money you have to throw away.

I'll pass on this one. Instead I'll just buy a $10 flashlight every year for the next 30 years.

For that amount of money, you could go to your local hardware store, get a nice LED Maglite and enough batteries to last a lot longer than 20 years. And the Maglite can be used to beat the bejesus out of a would be robber!

I think i would take the brightest AA flashlight in the world. the FENIX TK40 and it's half the price.

Just be sure to use rechargables.

I have a Porsche Design lighter that never needs batteries and will light on demand. You can also light a torch or a campfire should you need more illumination. Or a cigar if you need a break. Looks the same too. $80

Completely irrelevant, but that's Ayrton Senna as your picture, you get a +1 in my book.

Ah yes, but instead of replacing batteries, you need to refil the lighter fluid.

On an aside, the flashlight is safer to keep in your house than lighter fluid! ;)

But still, $300 is far too expensive. It's all due to the Porsche name. Just like the Acer Ferrari laptops! All because of the name...

An LED flashlight with a crank handle will never run out of power, provided you never run out of arms! :P

yes they will. 99.9% are complete junk. The gears get stripped pretty quickly. The batteries inside most are charged with no regulation circuitry and have no overcharge/over-discharge protection. Ruins them quite promptly.
