Firefox 4 Skips Past 100 Million Downloads
Mozilla has reason to hoot and holler. Marking one of the most successful Mozilla launches to date, the company's Firefox 4 browser zoomed past 100 million downloads during its first month of availability. This despite the fact that Firefox 4 didn't set the record for most downloads for the first 24 hours following launch. According to Mozilla's counter, Firefox 4 has been downloaded more than 103 million times, and counting.
Unfortunately for Mozilla, Firefox 4's warm reception has done little so far to boost the company's share of the browser market. According to Web analytics firm StatCounter, Firefox currently holds a 29.68 percent of the overall browser market, down from 29.98 percent in March 2011, 30.37 percent in February, and 30.68 percent in January.
The only browser grabbing more market share as of late is Chrome, according to data from StatCounter. Chrome has increased its share from 15.68 percent in January 2011 to 18.24 percent currently. Chrome's market share has gone up every month so far in 2011.

I was using IE9 and Chrome at home, then on a whim decided to give Firefox another shot. I was glad I did. It's so fast, stable, and generally awesome for everyday use I quickly made it my browser of choice and unininstalled the other two. Highly recommended.
