FCC Reveals Details About Archos' Android Tablets
Archos might not be talking up its upcoming media tablets, but that's okay because the FCC has given us a sneak peek of the spec sheets and an early look at the devices themselves.
Revealed in FCC documents, the Archos A5S and A5H bear resemblance to the Archos 5 Internet media tablet only with a white exterior. The A5H also looks like it contains both a microSD slot and microUSB port.
According to the FCC's testing report, both devices boast 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, FM transmitter, and FM receiver. What isn't known is whether or not either tablet will come ready for 3G connectivity, though it would seem a silly oversight if neither one did.

These devices are supposed to support 802.11w even though it hasn't been approved yet by the IEEE?

You know, I don't normally like the "grammar" police, but sometimes I can't help myself either.
The second paragraph, first sentence it should be bear, not bare. Bare means without covering (clothes). I have also noticed the out of sequence posts, but don't feel you need to fix it, just inform us like you have. Once I know what is going on, I can handle it.

This is sort of an off topic post, but how come articles sometimes appear on MaxPC out of order? For example, this article quietly snuck in underneath the white paper. I see that the White paper is a feature, but sometimes it happens with regular articles too.
It doesn't really make a huge difference, but I was just wondering...

You'll usually see this happen with features, which sometimes get an advance timestamp so they remain 'stickied' to the top of the page for a period of time. We want to make sure our readers get a chance to see these write-ups before they get buried by the influx of news posts.
As for news posts, there are multiple bloggers that post live to the site and the timestamp reflects when the article was started, not when it was finished/posted. If blogger A starts a news post at 10:30 and blogger B starts a news post at 10:35, blogger B's post will appear on top regardless of which one finishes first.

Thanks Paul. That cleared things up. I thought I was just going crazy and completely missing articles while scanning the site.
I subscribed to the RSS feed now, and it helped because I get updates every time a new article is posted. Personally, I don't think it's really an issue that needs to be "fixed".
