Meh, Facebook has the potential to sell me stuff, but I barely notice their ads. They all looked like typical spam crap. I've never, for example, seen an ad for what's on TV tonight, or a brand of clothing I might be interested in. It's all that "ASK ME HOW I GOT THESE ABS" or "MAKE MONEY FROM HOME" bullshit.

Know what I love about fashion/entertainment? All of it dies off, and only to be replaced by something new. I look forward to the future Facebook killer.

From SecondMarket's website:

"Leveraging our sophisticated online platform and team of market specialists, SecondMarket helps buyers and sellers transact in illiquid, restricted and alternative investments."

Yeah, there are a whole lot of dolts with some money to blow apparently, and who didn't learn (or weren't around) last time.

Illiquid, restriced, alternative = recipe for disaster.  See: hedge fund, CDOs, mortgage mess of 2008-2010.
