Your post is really very distinguished. Breast feeding is a natural process, so it should not be made an issue of discussion. It should not be shown on the social sites publicaly.

If they think its that important to show everyone don't do it on facebook, I'm sure theirs plenty of Mom and Dad forums out their people come together to show their breastfeeding pictures. But don't do it there, if they don't want it, too bad. Like I said theirs plenty of places to share your Womanhood with your child just dont show it on a public website, noone wants too see that, or maybe some do.

But Facebook isn't a place for that, sorry.

Regardless of how you feel about breastfeeding you agree to the Facebook terms of service. If they don't want it on the site they can remove it. If they were cat lovers and said that all pics of dogs would be removed they have the right. I think the problem people have is that they call it obscene. People think that just because they can post the photos to a page with their name on it they own the website. Wrong. You don't own anything. It is a service and they have the right to deny it to pretty much anyone. "No shoes, no shirt, no service!" ring a bell? People should be glad they just took the photos down. If you read close they probably have the right to ban people who have violated their terms.

But to call it obscene is utterly ridiculous. Just because they want to take the place of the kid does not make breastfeeding obscene.

That just prove the filth a lot of people have in their heads.

I like boobs and all but yeah  not in public... can a breastfeeding woman just walk around with her kid? they give people special rooms for that in bigger malls, because its obscene and all so why on the net? If i wanted to look at boobs I would go to youporn and not facebook... lol

I have no idea what they are talking about, I love breasts.  Its just a damn shame theres a baby head in the way.

there are facebook entries about wanna-be gangsters and wanna-be criminals promoting violence, murder, "working your way up" (working your way up from what -- street scum to inmate?) in a criminal organization.

People getting killed in the streets of our cities and you've got some uptight Pat Buchanans out there getting worked up over seeing a baby's head over a female's breast!

Why aren't people getting worked up over people promoting senseless killing?

Stop the Insanity! A breast never hurt anyone... in fact, it's the essence of life and nurture. I can't believe that the amount of violence consumed in America is considered normal and appropriate even for youngsters, but show a nipple and people go apeshit.

Dude, it's the internet. If you can't handle boobs go back to television. *shivers*

I can't stand it when women breast feed in public. Everything in our culture says to keep them hidden unless your looking to attract a "mate", or are looking for a few singles in your g-string. Yes it is a bonding between mother and child, but it is a private bond. Keep that to yourselves, because no one I know wants to watch a baby sucking off on some random broads tit... and by no means should those people be advocating it to be displayed publicly. (isn't there something better they could be doing with their time?) Luckily, none of my facebook friends would be so ridiculously open; and my friends who do breast feed do so in the private of a different room. Facebook FTW.

People who have problem with breastfeeding need to seek professional help. They obviously have major issues.

Sure, breasts are bouncy goodies we all love to get our hands on, I won't dispute that.  However, with that said, breastfeeding is natural, universal, and completely non-sexual.  Don't believe me?  There's enough perverts out there who think that a 4-year old is a sexual plaything--it doesn't mean we ban kids from having their pictures taken.

If someone wants to share a picture of their child breastfeeding, it isn't about the boobs--it's about the bond between mother and child, certainly one unique to a mother and child.  Breastefeeding has been legally allowed time and again to be perfectly legitimate in public forums, so the teens, the older kids, the middle-aged perverts, and everybody else can see it.  (I am honestly wondering how long until people in this country start demanding that dogs wear decency clothing to cover their various sexual organs to protect the Puritan American public from seeing anything sexual.)

Breasts feed babies.  Get over it already.

Totall agree with you.  How much breast is seen with breastfeeding?  There are plenty pf pictures on facebook of women in bikinis, showinig as much or more breast as a nursing baby, and they aren't removed.  So WTF?  Breastfeeding is a natural, wonderful thing and not intended to attract people, unlike bikinis.  Retarded.

You do see the breast right?  I think That is nudity.  I wouldn't want to accidently navigate to one of those pictures.  'nuff said.

This has to be the most ignorant posts and one of the most ignorant people on this planet.

....This place has A LOT of people, and nobody wants to see that shit, pictures with your baby is ok but breastfeeding is a little over the edge. Women need to stop being so overdramatic :-/

I am sorry but Breastfeeding does expose breast. Turns some on/off and dosenot belong in a public fourm. If I go to a breastfeeding site I would expect to see such things. I am 51 yr old Male makes no dif to me but what about the teen kids that could gander at that?

So?? They can have a boner watching women in G-string. I do not hear you banning G-string?

What's with the feminists insisting on breastfeeding in public. If facebook caves on this one, what's next? Frenchman insisting on posting pictures urinating in public?

They could gander at it on the street too, and it's perfectly natural.  As a matter of fact, they'd probably done it at some point in there life.
