Fable III Coming to PC? “Stay Tuned,” Says Microsoft

The first Fable was decent. Unfortunately, outspoken Lionhead head Peter Molyneux raised everyone’s expectations to such stratospheric levels that anything less than the greatest game of all time would be a total letdown. Fable II, meanwhile, was pretty great -- and also it had a puppy. As suckers for four-legged canine slobbermonsters, our perception of Fable II (“Hey, is that a notable in-game flaw? Don’t care anymore because Doggy!”) may be a bit skewed. Still, it was an excellent – though somewhat flawed – foundation, and Lionhead’s building off it in Fable III.
Better still, the fantasy role-playing epic may be following its magical bread crumb trail over to the PC – at least, if boxart for the game is any indication. “Only on Xbox 360 and Windows,” it says. But if boxart always told the truth, The Orange Box would be awful, and Pac-Man would be about the time the Jack in the Box guy raced in a marathon against ghosts. So let’s see what Microsoft has to say:
“We’ve made no official announcements but please stay tuned,” a Microsoft rep told VG247.
That’s definitely not a “no.” We don’t know about you, but our hopes are up. And if the game doesn’t come to PC? Well, this wouldn’t be the first time a Fable game has disappointed us.

Micro$soft might actually earn a soft spot in my heart if they do this. I loved the first Fable. Second one was meh. Hope the 3rd is fun. Will buy if it's on PC.

I just don't care anymore. I gave up on Microsoft gaming when they put Alan Wake on the xbox only. Companies that treat PC gamers as second rate customers or thieves don't deserve my gaming dollars anyway.
