Dual Core Sandy Bridge Laptops Arrive In Droves
Sandy Bridge has been back in the news this week in a very big way, with just about every manufacturer launching all new dual core laptops with Core i3, i5, and i7 branded processors. You might make the argument that Sandy Bridge laptops have been around for ages now, but as Engadget points out, only those on the market for quad cores were finding a match up until this week. Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, and Sony have all hopped on the bandwagon giving you plenty of new machines to pick from.
Dell
If Dell is your machine of choice, the Inspiron R series with its swappable lids are worth checking out, while business professionals will find solace in the Latitude E5000 and E6000 series.
HP
HP fans can point their browser at the all new aluminum Pavillion DV6, or D7, or if you’re on a tight budget the G-series packs plenty of bang for your buck.
Lenovo
The Thinkpad hasn’t changed much from an industrial design stand point, but if your looking for Sandy Bridge under the hood, the new T420, and T520 are great additions to the lineup.
Samsung
Samsung might not be the first company that comes to mind when you go hunting for a new notebook, but the Series 9 sports some fairly impressive performance in a very lightweight and slim form factor.
Sony
The ever dependable Sony VAIO C Series has also seen a refresh, and is a great option if you prefer a more exotic exterior design.
