maybe those DRAM companies should switch their factories to make SSD drives, as that's clearly the future of storage, HDDs are starting to become history

Come to think of it, Windows hardware requirements haven't changed much (if any) since Vista!

Correct, from Vista to 7, the minimum RAM went from 512 MB to 1 GB, and from 7 to 8 the CPU went from 800 Mhz to 1 Ghz.
