I saw the 15z at Fry's among other laptops that I was looking into potentially buying. Aside from the HP Envy, the XPS z series was pretty much the best looking laptop that didn't break the bank for what it had. The 15z at least gets around 6-7 hours. I think Anand or Engadget ran a review, the 14z give or take a little less since it's the same hardware with a smaller battery.

You also forgot to mention, Paul, the screen has one of the thinnest bezels you can find on a laptop (at least on the side).

Very nice. All I need to know now is how long is the battery life, and how easy is it to get into to upgrade and repair?

" ...the 14z measures 0.9mm thin..." Um, am I missing something? that seems a bit like a stretch to me...

Should have been inches. 0.9mm would be rad though.

Just think if it wasn't for the elecronics and batteries e-ink displays would be that thin. And given the fact you can abuse them, and they still work...

People buy macs cause theyre macs, not because they have better hardware.  But this laptop does look kickass.

The graphics card should work, I don't know what the motherboard is, but I have seen a lot of dells run OSX. It's the graphics card that usually gets you.
