I'm not convinced Win7 is the king of OSes. I've been using 7 Ultimate on my Core i7 desktop and Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro and I'm pretty positive Apple's Expose is a much better window managment system that Windows 7's. I seem to be able to navigate my Mac laptop a whole lot more efficiently than my Windows desktop. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I also don't understand why my Core 2 Duo laptop feels snappier than my *Core i7* desktop. I'm just pointing this out so I hope I'm not starting a flaming war...

Forget about the fact that the keyboard is elevated and tell me that laptop doesn't look EXACTLY like a MacBook!

Your core 2 duo laptop can *feel* snappier but if you run the same program on both you can't seriously tell me it actually runs faster on the laptop... and any OS couldn't make that much of a difference. Now it could be possible that you don't run antivirus on your mac or you have a ssd drive in your laptop and an older/slower drive in your windows machine. Best way to compare is to run Win 7 on your laptop by dual booting...

is it fair to compare the amount of memory when the mac os needs less to begin with?  you can run a mac and all it's applications with 2GB of memory but windows needs at least that amount just for the OS.  i'm not trying to be a mac fanboy, i actually prefer windows for work, i'm just questioning the comparison.

win 7 can run fine on a netbook with 1gb ram.... point is to compare specs/features for the price.

i bet the trackpad on the macbook has drivers that actually work though.

i cant get over the fact that it has the most awkward layout. how the crap can i possibly use this thing comfortably on my lap? it seems like it would be fine on a table or desk but that defeats the whole portability purpose

Unless he was interpreting it as: ONE 3.4 inch display... XD

Whoa, hold up. 3.4 inch display? this must be a typo. No 3.4 inch display can be HD with our current technology. Besides, 3.4 inch is way to small. We're talking Nintendo DSi small.

Windows 7 is the King of all OSes

I think it says 13.4...

Not when I posted my comment. It said "3.4 inch display" when I posted it.
